The San Francisco Giants kicked off Spring Training today with a 10-4 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers. It was a later game than originally planned as first pitch was pushed back to accommodate for poor weather.
Joey Bart, the Giants first round draft pick in 2018, went yard in the seventh inning in his first at-bat.
Mauricio Dubon had two hits, including a third inning homer to put the Giants on the board. Dubon was acquired last season from the Milwaukee Brewers, finishing the 2019 season with a .274 batting average for the Giants.
The San Francisco Giants continue cactus League play tomorrow as they travel to Mesa, Arizona to take on the Oakland Athletics. The game can be heard on KNBR 104.5 FM/680 AM.
